If you’re here right now, you’ve probably read part 1. In the second part, you will identify the looks of your new dragon and the occupation it is.

First, we want to think about the colour of the dragon. So depending on the number of siblings you currently have, your dragon won’t be monotone anymore.

0 – 1 siblings – – your favourite colour + the colour black, white, gold or silver.

2 – 4 siblings – – a warm tone + a lighter or darker shade of that.

5+ siblings – – a complementary pair.

Okay, so the base is done. Now we want to figure out the eye colour.

Wings of Fire has many different items that serve purposes. These items are spelled by animus dragons, who are rare dragons that can cast spells on items or living things. Here are a few objects that dragons have cast spells on over the years in the Dragon World.

• the three dreamvisitors: they allow you to visit the dreams of other people you have seen.
• the Eye of the Onyx: its basically what holds the Kingdom of Sand together.
• the Great Wall of Ice: a weapon in the Ice Kingdom that shoots frozen ice into the hearts of non-Icewing dragons.
• the Enchanted Scroll: Darkstalker used it to contain his animus powers, so that you write a spell in it and it works.
• Turtle’s sea coral: Turtle enchanted it to find anything he has lost.

On this page I will list down all the ships that I think are cursed :P. (warning: LOTS of caps.)

1. Darkstalker x Moon – WHY THE HECK WOULD MOON LIKE A 2000 YEAR OLD ANCIENT PSYCHOPATH!!
2. Sundew x Swordtail – nnNO! SUNDEW HAS WILLOW, AND SWORDTAIL HAS LUNA! THATS ALL THERE IS TO ITT!
3. Thorn x Cobra – WHO – WHAT – WHEN – WHERE – WHY WOULD SOMEONE MAKE THIS SHIP!! IT LITERALLY HAS NO CHEMISTRY!!!
4. Kinkajou x Winter – Ok yes I understand this but like- rEaLlAy??? Why would we WANT this?????
5. Sunny x Fatespeaker – I like it, but I really ship FATESPEAKER AND STARFLIGHT better.

Ok I’m gonna end it here cuz I’m too lazy 😛 XD

1. The Great Seawing Massacre. Fathom the animus’ uncle, Albatross, was an animus. Albatross was building a new Seawing Palace that literally grew for, like, 2,000 years. Since it was such a big spell, Albatross went insane. He killed the queen and most of all the royal Seawings, but luckily Fathom was there to stop him.
2. When Queen Oasis died. 3 scavengers went into the Kingdom of Sand to steal treasure. Queen Oasis had smelled them coming and went out to kill them. Somehow one of the scavengers had killed her instead, one was caught and treated like a pet and one ran away with all the treasure. This cause a huge war between the whole continent, as the three Sandwing sisters were fighting for the crown.
3. The volcanic eruption on the new Nightwing island. After getting traumatised by Darkstalker, the tribe fled to a secret volcanic island and settled there. Time passed by, and soon, at the same time as the Dragonet Prophecy, the volcano erupted. Most of the Nightwings escaped the explosion, but others weren’t so luck. During this time period, the Dragonets of Destiny learnt that their whole life and purpose was a lie, but they still fulfilled the Prophecy anyways.

Leafwings are a type of WoF dragon.

They have green or brown scales and have wings shaped like giant leaves. Some of them have also got powers that boost or control plants, a power called leafspeak.

Almost wiped out in the Tree wars, the Leafwings were forced to go in hiding in the Poison Jungle because of how they suspected Queen Wasp when she refused to show Queen Sequoia the Book of Clearsight. The Hivewings resulted this as a war; the Tree Wars.

It was called the Tree Wars because of how Queen Wasp ordered her tribe to burn down almost every single tree on Pantala. This severe deforestation only didn’t reach Poison Jungle. The plants there were mysteriously carnivorous. It ate all the Hivewings and the Leafwings had a little time getting used to the dragon-eating plants. But soon they managed it.

I have also written about animuses, Rainwings, Mudwings, Sandwings and Silkwings.

Silkwings are a type of WoF dragon.

They have coloured scales any colour except black and have antennas that can sense movement. They can also spin silk form their wrists.

The Silkwings have been recently serving the Hivewings because of the Book of Clearsight. But thanks to Luna and Blue and Swordtail and Sundew etc, the Silkwings are now free to their own land. The Hivewings were locking up all the flamesilks, using them as a source for fire and light. They were also torturing the Silkwings, not telling the dragonets that they were controlling them. But the only one that actually did anything bad was Queen Wasp, who tricked and lied to the Silkwings to get their loyalty.

I honestly quite like the Silkwings as they are really gentle and that they are so, so, so cool.

Flamesilk Silkwings are dragons who instead of silk spun from their talons, flames come out. Queen Wasp kept them in a stone room with barely any light (apart from the flamesilk) to see. The Silkwings their were so mean to each other even though they had the same problems to deal with.

My favourite characters are Luna and Dusky.

Luna is a flamesilk and she is Blue’s older sister. She loves to imagine everything as a tapestry in her head to stay optimistic.

Dusky is a Silkwing dragonet and he met Luna in book fifteen. He’s awfully brave and he is friends with Lizard (or Freedom) in the mindspace when their bodies were getting controlled.

Animus powers are a very rare ability only some dragons get. These animus dragons can cast spells and enchantments.

They can do basically everything—except bring a dragon back from the dead. Since casting a spell each time cost a piece of a dragon’s soul, which makes them crazy and evil, some smart dragons enchant something to keep their soul safe. Even though their soul can still be lost by doing bad choices, like a famous animus dragon called Darkstalker.

Darkstalkers’s father was animus Prince Arctic, of the Icewings. His mother was Foeslayer of the Nightwings. Darkstalker’s sister was Whiteout, and his best friends were animus Prince Fathom and a strong seer, Clearsight. Darkstalker never thought animus magic was a big deal and cast spells all day to help other dragons. Fathom, meanwhile, survived the Great Seawing Massacre and swore an oath to never use his magic again because of the number of dragons that were dead. And Clearsight worked for her queen, having to tell the queen exactly everything she had a vision about. But unfortunately, Darkstalker went too far. You see, Darkstalker’s father was horrible to Darkstalker, and with that, Darkstalker couldn’t take it after his mom got captured. He cast a spell on Arctic to obey his every command and made him disembowel (rip out his stomach) himself and that basically killed him. Clearsight and Fathom decided that Darkstalker was a psychopath and Fathom reluctantly agreed to use his magic to stop Darkstalker. And they did, never seeing him again until 2 thousand years later…

Sandwings are a type of WoF dragon.

They have scales the colour of sand, usually a nice yellow, a barbed venomous tail, and a forked tongue. They can breath fire and poison enemies with the tips of their tail like scorpions. They can camouflage in sand and can survive a long time without water.

The Sandwings have a complicated history—a story about the old queen Oasis. . .

There was a queen called Oasis and she, one night, smelled scavengers (humans) in her treasury. So she went to the treasury and fought the scavengers that were stealing the treasure. One scavenger managed to slice Oasis’s tail and another impaled her in the eye with a spear. As the scavengers ran away, they left behind one of their kind.

A small human buried herself in a sand dune so that she didn’t get caught and eaten. Smolder, Burn, Blister and Blaze’s brother found the small human, naming her Flower.

Back to Queen Oasis, the other Sandwings heard her roaring in the middle of the night, and when they went to investigate, they found Oasis dead in a pool of blood. And that’s where they found the scavenger footprints. The Sandwings followed the footprints and burned down a whole scavenger village.

Burn, Blister and Blaze were Oasis’ daughters and they started the war betwwen each other because they wanted the throne.

Burn was the oldest and strongest—she stayed in the Sandwing Stronghold while the war went on. She allied with the Skywings and Mudwings.

Blister was the smartest sister and the evilest. She allied to the Seawings and secretly, the Nightwings.

Blaze was the youngest and prettiest sister. She had a brain the size of a blueberry and she allied with the Icewings and most of the Sandwings.

They fought and fought and fought until the Dragonet Prophecy was born. Five dragonets were chosen to end the war. And they did, by finding the eye of the onyx and defeating Blister (Burn already died). But instead of Blaze becoming queen, they chose Thorn, the leader of the Scorpion Den.

I kind of like the Sandwings because they have so much going on and the first five books were kind of caused because of them, making it a whole lot more complicated.
